STEAM Trainer
Job Summary
Are you passionate about inspiring young minds through hands-on learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM)? Do you have a knack for making complex concepts fun and understandable for early years students? If yes, we want you on our team!
We are hiring STEAM Trainers to lead engaging, educational workshops and activities for students aged 5–12. This is a contractual full-time opportunity ideal for enthusiastic educators with a background in STEAM and a strong commitment to experiential learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct workshops and teach STEAM concepts to early years students (ages 5–17)
- Design and facilitate engaging, hands-on STEAM lessons that integrate coding, robotics, and scientific thinking.
- Encourage creativity, collaboration, and curiosity in a classroom setting.
- Develop and adapt curriculum and learning materials based on student needs and learning objectives.
- Utilize technology and real-world scenarios to deepen student understanding.
- Provide mentorship and support during student-led projects.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to evaluate and improve program outcomes.
- Stay informed on emerging trends and technologies in the STEAM education landscape
Required Skills
- Passion for education and empowering young learners.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to design fun, interactive STEM activities tailored for early years.
- Proficiency in tools and technologies used in coding, robotics, or educational tech.
- Creativity and adaptability in the classroom.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- Previous experience with diverse student populations is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- School teachers with tech backgrounds or experience teaching ICT/Computer Science in early years education.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEAM-related field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Education, etc.).
- Prior experience as a STEAM instructor or trainer.
