About this role
What the job actually involves
You'd design and revise robotics and AI modules across the age bands LearnOBots teaches, working from classroom evidence rather than a syllabus written in isolation. That means sitting in on live sessions, reading instructor feedback, and revising a module after it's run rather than only before.
This role sits between the delivery team, who tell you what actually happened in the room, and the platform team, who build whatever the module needs software-side.
Responsibilities
- Design robotics and AI modules for simulator-first, kit-second delivery
- Write assessment rubrics that grade reasoning, not just whether the build worked
- Revise modules based on instructor feedback and classroom observation
- Brief the platform team on software requirements for new modules
Requirements
- Experience designing STEM/STEAM curriculum for school-age learners
- Working knowledge of robotics or embedded systems fundamentals
- Comfortable revising your own published work based on classroom evidence
Nice to have
- Classroom teaching experience
- Experience with competency-based assessment design
