Maker SpacesFor schools

Practical, project-based learning environments for schools. A physical makerspace with real equipment, or the maker experience on simulators with hardware add-ons.

Inside your schoolCurriculum, platform and kitsProject-based

A maker space is where students turn lessons into things they can hold. We design it with your school, equip it and set it up, and it runs on the same curriculum, learning platform and hardware kits as the rest of LearnOSTEAM.

The Do-It-Yourself structure is designed to build students’ thinking skills through ideation and play, and it is outcome-oriented: every session works towards a specific learning outcome.

What’s included

How it works for your school

Spark ideas, build together

Students ideate and build projects in teams, the way engineers and designers actually work.

Structured, lesson by lesson

Specific learning outcomes through a structured, lesson-based approach, not open-ended tinkering.

Curriculum, platform and kits

Our curriculum, the LearnOSTEAM platform and cost-efficient hardware kits combine into one learning environment.

Physical or simulated

Deploy a full makerspace, or start on simulators and add hardware as the programme grows.

Your teachers run it

Teachers are certified through our teacher training, so the space keeps running when we step back.

Part of the learner record

What a student builds in the space appears in their My LearnOBots portfolio and stays there.

Digital Pods, for sites where a full space won’t fit

Compact units for places where a full makerspace isn’t practical: limited space, unreliable power or bandwidth, or several schools sharing one facility. They run the same curriculum as a full space.

Next step

Talk to someone who has done this in a school like yours.

One meeting covers what fits your school, how delivery works and what it costs. We reply within one working day.
