Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Hardware Design Engineer with 2 to 2.5 years of working experience to join our team and help in the development of STEAM kits and projects. The ideal candidate will fulfil the requirements below.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize electronic hardware solutions for STEAM educational kits and
  • robotics projects.
  • Perform soldering, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic circuits and hardware components.
  • Assemble robots, electronic kits, and custom hardware solutions as per project requirements.
  • Work with various microcontrollers and development boards (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, etc.) for
  • product integration.
  • Interface sensors, actuators, and communication modules using protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, etc.
  • Develop rapid prototypes for electronics and product assembly.
  • Design and review PCB schematics and layouts; coordinate fabrication and assembly.
  • Collaborate with software and product development teams for smooth hardware-software
  • integration.
  • Supervise junior team members and align tasks with project timelines.
  • Manage procurement of components from local and international vendors; maintain vendor
  • relationships.
  • Track and manage hardware inventory with proper documentation.
  • Contribute to product development strategy, focusing on solution reliability, scalability, and cost
  • optimization.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in hardware, robotics, and educational technologies.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in electronics circuit design, soldering, and troubleshooting.
  • Practical knowledge of microcontrollers, sensors, and communication protocols.
  • Experience in PCB design and fabrication tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, Proteus, Eagle).
  • Ability to develop and test prototypes quickly.
  • Experience in team supervision and project coordination.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and dealing with vendors (local & international).
  • Familiarity with inventory and hardware management systems.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, creativity, and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Experience

  • Minimum: 2 years
  • Preferred: 2.5 – 3 years

Education/Qualification:

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, and related degrees
  • Preferred: Electrical & Electronics
