Job Description:
Fellows will be deployed in public schools to support digital learning, train teachers, and teach students using EdTech tools. They will conduct interactive lessons, improve classroom engagement,, and optimize smart classrooms, interactive screens, and digital platforms. Fellows will also assess school readiness, enhance lesson delivery, and provide feedback to improve teaching effectiveness. Their role ensures sustainable integration of technology for better learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capacity Building: Train teachers and students, providing hands-on support for digital education tools.
- Technology Support: Assist teachers and students in using Smart Classrooms, Chromebooks, and digital tools; train educators on EdTech solutions.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Assess tech deployment in schools, conduct evaluations, and measure readiness using ETRI.
- Data & Reporting: Collect data on technology adoption, engagement, and challenges; prepare monthly reports.
- Technical Assistance: Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues to ensure smooth digital learning.
- Collaboration & Improvement: Work with stakeholders to enhance digital learning and recommend tech integration improvements.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (16 years) in Computer Science, IT, Educational Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in EdTech, IT support, digital learning, or technology integration in education.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Proficiency in working with educational hardware such as Smart Boards, Interactive Screens, and Chromebooks.
- Familiarity with open-source and free-license educational tools.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders including school administrators, teachers, and students.
